Upcoming Classes at Tandy Leather Factory #161, Allentown, PA

 

Learn the art and skill of leatherworking!  Leave the class with understanding and, a useful or beautiful completed project.  Classes are held at Tandy Leather Saturdays, from 10am until approximately noon.  Please call or visit to enroll in advance and, to get more information.  Attendance of at least three people necessary to hold classes.  Enrollment fee includes instruction and, our choice of leather(s).

June 4^th  , Carving  Learn to carve leather using a swivel knife and stamps.  Appropriate for beginners to advance, taught by an expert carver.  Bring your own tools, required:  swivel knife, and at least one beveler, veiner, camouflager, backgrounder, seeder, pear shader, mallet (if you are just getting started, the Basic Leathercraft Kit will get you all you need).  $20 enrollment fee covers materials.

June 11^th ,  Basic Belt Class  Dye, assemble and finish a basic belt.  A great class for new beginners!  Real cowhide belts will last years.  Materials included for solid color belt, with buckle, in the $20 enrollment fee.

June 18^th,  Vanbrace Class   Leave with your own vanbrace.  Must bring own tools if design work is desired. Price includes leather only, decorations, buckles are extra. Class is $15.00
